Frequently asked questions
Refer to the specific painting listing -only a small number of artworks come with a frame.
All frames are natural wood floating frames which I have purchased alongside the stretched canvas. This is a very affordable way to purchase a floating frame and as such I have not added an additional fee to the price. The price listed is the reflection of the value of my artwork.
Everyone has different tastes -you may choose to leave it natural or to remove the frame and stain or paint it to align with your home decor.
Simply remove the 4 screws on the back with a screwdriver to remove the frame from the canvas.
If you are interested in a different style of frame, I suggest speaking with your local framing store and consider getting a quote in advance.
***The frame may be different to what you see on Instagram. I use an app called smartist which allows me to generate images with my art in various settings.
This is a great way to visualise the artwork and get a feel of what it might be like in different environments and in different frames. It may even help you decide what colour to stain the frame.
None of my canvas panel paintings come framed, however you do have some options.
They can be framed using a floating frame (my favourite) generally available at a specialised frame store.
Alternatively many (but not all) standard traditional frames will support a canvas panel if you remove the glass panel. The canvas panel dimensions are available in the painting descriptions.
I plan to paint the majority of my small works on canvas panel in the future due to the additional framing options available compared with stretched canvas.
Note - oil paintings need to be able to breathe to avoid the paint from cracking over time. It is not recommended to frame them under glass.

Each image is professionally printed using a third party, on 100% Ilford Galerie Textured Cotton Rag 310gsm – non gloss.
The textured surface grain becomes part of the image, adding dimension and enhancing lighter areas. The texture created by the original brushstrokes and canvas tooth also come through, making the prints feel like the original
This is an archival print that will last for many years to come.
All prints are 8x10 inch.
Larger sizes are not currently available.
I find inspiration everywhere, but especially in the simple pleasures of life such as a good cup of coffee, fresh pastries, and beautiful flowers.
I also love to travel and nothing inspires me more than the romance cities of Europe. The buildings, the fashion, and the little glimpses of art history hidden in plain sight.
These experiences flow into my artwork and allow me to create my vision of romantic paintings of beautiful moments, places and things.
All of the artwork featured is created by me, in my home studio.
My home studio is actually a tiny studio nook, which is bathed in natural light and fills me with a sense of calm and happiness. My little studio assistance, Lulu & Daphne, my Frenchies, are never far away and I always create with a hot coffee in hand - it is Melbourne after all.
